Christine Vernon

Christine (Wannop) Vernon moved to Murrells Inlet, SC in 2005. She was raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pa and studied Fine Arts and oil/acrylic painting. In 2015, she became the local storyteller/proprietor of Miss Chris’ Inlet Walking Tour, a ghost/history tour along the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. She won the 2021/2022 Best of the Beach Awards for Best Land Tour. Christine lectures for museums, schools,sells her artwork at her home studio and is currently working on her 3rd book regarding South Strand legends. Storytelling is a lost art. Pass on your story!
